American Friends of Rabin Medical Center (AFRMC) is proud to share a historic milestone:
Anat and Dr. Shmuel Harlap have donated $180 million to Rabin Medical Center, marking the largest gift in the history of Israel’s healthcare system.

This visionary contribution will fund the construction of the Heart and Brain Center, "The Tower of Hope", a groundbreaking 15-story, 70,000 sq. meter facility set to open in early 2027.

The Tower of Hope at a glance:

• 300 inpatient and intensive care beds
• 8 leading clinical departments in cardiology, neurosurgery, neurology, thoracic & cardiac surgery
• 3 fully protected floors with operating rooms, catheterization labs, and ICUs
• Advanced technologies: intraoperative MRI, laser system for minimally invasive neurosurgery, MEG for epilepsy diagnostics, BERA brainstem response system

The Heart Center will deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care, expanded ICUs, transplant services, and AI-powered technologies.

The Brain Center will include a Stroke Command Center, advanced stroke unit, innovative operating rooms, and a dedicated brain research institute.

The Harlap family shared:
