On June 20, the Bel Air, California home of Evelyn and Bill Bernstein was filled with over 100 supporters when the American Friends of Rabin Medical Center held an informative event on Parkinson's disease. Guests watched a video highlighting Rabin Medical Center's stem cell and other research projects. Dr. Jeff Bronstein professor of neuroglogy and director of movement disorders at the UCLA School of Medicine and Mike Pursel of Teva Neroscience spoke about latest developments in Parkinson's research and treatment. Dr. Dan Oppenheim, CEO of the Rabin Medical Center, spoke about Israel's premier medical complex, while Dr. Joshua Plaut, national executive director of the American Friends thanked the group for helping to launch the organization's new presence in Southern California.
