American Friends of Rabin Medical Center in partnership with the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation (including Bellevue Hospital and Metropolitan Hospital) presents an exclusive breakfast series, "Global Connections: Merging Industries around the World" . The event will welcome CEO's and business leaders from various sectors to engage in high level networking and listen to a renowned business leader speak on the current need for the exchange of industry specific knowledge in today's current domestic and global economic and political affairs.
The event will fund the International Rabin Fellow Exchange Program with a New York City Hospital.
In a recent ranking of countries with the most efficient health care systems, Israel ranked close to the top of the list. It snagged the number four slot, far ahead of the United States, which came in at number 46.
Approximately 9,000 babies are born at the Helen Schneider Hospital for Women yearly and about seven percent of these are premature deliveries where the baby is still hospitalized after the mother goes home.
In the middle of August during the Israel-Lebanon war, Stephen
and Yvette Cohen Pomerantz hosted an event at their New
York City home with Dr. Dean Ad-El, Director of Plastic Surgery
at Rabin Medical Center.
